Ongoing Activities and Reminders

 

Christmas –We are collecting adult sized coats, socks, and target gift cards to assist our pantry guests.

  •  Coffee Hour – Consider helping with Coffee Hour by bringing some light snacks or making coffee. One   
    • BCHG Mobile Market – The Bucks County Housing Group Mobile Market distributes food from the St. Philip’s parking lot on Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m
    • Blessing Box – Our Blessing Box mini food pantry is always open to take donations and help those in need. Suggested food items: dried rice, dried black beans, canned tuna, jarred tomato sauce, macaroni and cheese, granola bars, small condiment jars
    • Church support – Thank you for your continual prayer and financial support. You can send donations by mail or online on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SaintPhilipsChurchNewHope/ or our website at https://stphilipsnewhope.org/donate/.
    • McCaffrey’s receipts – Bring in receipts from any McCaffrey’s market in Pennsylvania or New Jersey. St. Philip’s will receive a donation of 1% of the receipt amount.
    • Donor Advised Fund – Looking for a cost-effective and flexible way to support St. Philip’s? Consider charitable giving through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF), a potentially attractive form of tax-effective philanthropy if you have appreciated securities (stocks, mutual funds), real estate, or other financial windfalls. Consult with your accountant or financial advisor to see if this is right for you.
