Our amazing church

Advent Season: December

St. Philip’s celebrates the birth of Christ with services throughout the Advent season, including two Christmas Eve services and a Christmas Day service.

Bishop Daniel Guiterrez's Visitation to St. Philip's: June 18

St. Philip’s was honored by a pastoral visitation from the Rt. Rev. Daniel G.P. Gutierrez, Bishop of Pennsylvania. We were blessed with 21 new companions who were received into our Communion.

New Hope Pride Parade: May 20

St. Philip’s marches in the annual Pride Parade that winds through Lambertville and New Hope to celebrate our area’s diversity.

Easter and Holy Week: March and April

St. Philip’s holds special services and events during Lent and Holy Week, including Good Friday noon liturgy, vespers, and the Great Vigil of Easter, culminating in two services on Easter followed by an egg hunt.

Stations of the Cross: March and April

Father Michael wondered how perceptions might be changed by a modern-day interpretation of the Stations of The Cross. A few parishioners gathered photographs from public sources to represent each of the Stations and posted them on the windows of the church during Lent. View the installation below, or view closeup images here.

Be Peace

Be Peace was conceived on Nov. 9, 2016, during an interfaith community conversation at St. Philip’s. But the movement isn’t tied to a particular time or place. Be Peace is an ongoing personal commitment to embracing optimism and creating a kinder community for all.

Weddings and Baptisms

Our space, which seats about 70 people, is perfect for weddings and baptisms. Father Michael is able to perform weddings in both the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey. All couples are welcome to celebrate the sacrament of marriage at St. Philip's.

In the Community

Service to our community is an important part of our commitment. Throughout the year, St. Philip’s maintains a vibrant community presence by hosting concerts and lectures; gathering donations for food banks, refugees, and the homeless; taking an active role in Peacemeal; blessing the Delaware River; hosting a “Write for Rights” campaign for Amnesty International; providing “Ashes to Go”; and participating in many other events.

In All Seasons

Our church is a source of faith, peace, joy and inspiration throughout the seasons.
